Meet The Staff: Elizabeth Medina

Elizabeth Medina comes from over 16 years of experience in nonprofit organization management, which she is able to utilize well here at First Nonprofit Group. She originally joined First Nonprofit as a Program Assistant to assist Vice President Cecilia Piazza. Now, in her current role as Business Development, Elizabeth is in an inside sales position and is excited to be helping nonprofits around the country save significantly on their State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) costs.

Prior to working at First Nonprofit, Elizabeth received a Certificate of Nonprofit Management from North Park University and she attended Northeastern Illinois University. She then heard about First Nonprofit Group because she used to be employed at a nonprofit organization that benefitted from our unemployment programs. Now, she is thrilled to be helping even more nonprofits around the country save money that can be put back towards their missions. “I believe in our products,” she states. “We all win: the member, the state association, and First Nonprofit,” Elizabeth continued. “First Nonprofit is truly able to help all of the parties involved.”

Outside of the office, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her 23-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter. While she was born and raised in Wicker Park, a western neighborhood of Chicago, Elizabeth now enjoys living in the south Chicago suburbs close to 4 of her siblings, where she is able to spend quality time with her family.
