We are working closely with our claim administration partners, state unemployment agency staffs, and the leaders at Unemployment and Workers’ Compensation (UWC) Foundation to both understand the parameters of how unemployment eligibility may be defined and how claims may be managed. Yesterday the U.S. Department of Labor released information to the states regarding unemployment related to COVID-19 but most states have yet to release specific processes. We are in ongoing communication with our claim administration partners as they internalize and incorporate any indicated changes they may need to make relative to COVID-19.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we, along with our claim administration partners and friends at the state unemployment agencies, work through and adapt to this critical situation.
